Hello!
From museums and archives to UX design
I’m Sarah and I organize chaos. Specifically, I structure and organize information on websites, applications, and systems so people can find and discover content, products, and services.
I found myself working in the user experience space by way of the museum field where I learned how to arrange, label, and describe things that made the most sense to our visitors. My background as an exhibit designer, archivist, writer, and product developer influences how I approach the design process – with an evidence-based, content-centered design strategy.
I hold a master’s degree in information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a specialization in information architecture and design.
